Perched on a beautiful stretch of seafront, Costa Teguise offers sandy beaches and lively restaurants, but with a more relaxed feel than the larger resort area of Puerto del Carmen. The island’s historic capital, Teguise, is a short drive away.

It’s also a great location for heading north and exploring some of the more unusual things to do in Lanzarote, including Jameos del Agua and Cuevos de la Verdes.

Although Costa Teguise is a popular resort for families, you can also find some great adults only accommodation options here.

Barceló Teguise Beach (£££)
