Site Hosting – Lyrical Host

I’ve been with LyricalHost since 2019, and I can’t recommend them enough as the perfect hosting service for bloggers. Made with WordPress in mind, they optimise for speed and have a whole host of useful inclusions, including SSL certificates, email accounts and free malware scans. Their customer service is second to none, and they were incredibly helpful at helping me optimise when I was struggling with my site speed.

Their ‘Tiny’ package costs £13.99 per month, is perfect for blogs with under 50,000 page views per month. Use the code ‘MILLYY10’ for 10% off your first hosting payment!

Keyword Research – Keysearch

When I started accelerating my blog’s Google traffic in 2024, Keysearch was vital! It’s a tool that helps you find the right keywords for your post, and I’ve used it as a key source of information for article planning.

It costs $24 per month (or $240 for the year), which gives you 200 keyword searches per day, plus extras like keyword rank tracking and page audits.

Affiliate Links – Travelpayouts

One of the best ways to monetise a blog is by using affiliate links to products and services you recommend. Honestly, this one’s been a game changer. Since signing up to Travelpayouts in 2024, I’ve had $500+ months from affiliates alone!

The platform brings together a wide range of travel-related programs that I was linking to anyway, including GetYourGuide, Booking.com and TripAdvisor. Having them all in one place means you don’t have to keep an eye on tens of different affiliate dashboards, and it’s much easier to meet the payout threshold ($50).
