My 2015 Gig Wishlist

Live music is something I’ll always have time and a passion for – there’s nothing more exciting than the feeling of singing along to songs you know and love at the top of your lungs with hundreds or thousands of fellow fans. I’ve already been to one great gig this year (Slipknot at Wembley!), and fully intend to fill the rest of 2015 with awesome music. Here are five gigs/tours on my wishlist!

The Used
Various dates // 5 – 20 February // The Used tickets
The Used are a band that I’ve really liked ever since my teenage emo-listening days – In Love And Death is still one of my all-time favourite releases. After seeing them at Download last year, I’m definitely hungry for more, after being reminded how much I enjoy them live. Plus, the super ace Decade are supporting!

Kerrang! Tour 2015 – Don Broco, We Are The In Crowd, Beartooth
Various dates // 6 – 11 February // Kerrang! Tour tickets
The Kerrang! Tour always seems to hit the spot with great band choices, and choosing one of Britain’s fastest growing bands, Don Broco, to headline is a fantastic shout. Having seen them live plenty of times before, they always put on a great show – keep a watch out for the famous ‘Broco walk’!

Fightstar
Various dates // 23 – 27 February // Fightstar tickets
After being absolutely blown away by Fightstar’s Forum gig last year, their Brixton date is a must-see for me. With an incredibly passionate fanbase, every song was sung back at the band from the top of the crowd’s lungs, reminding everyone what one of the best post-hardcore bands of the decade sounds like.

The Script
O2, London // 13-14 March // The Script tickets
I’ve never actually been to a gig at the O2 before(!), but I can imagine The Script’s powerful guitar infused pop filling the huge space perfectly. Plus, it’s a great chance for anyone who misses ogling Danny O’D on The Voice to get their fix! Labrinth will also be appearing as a very special guest, so don’t miss out!

The Movielife
London & Manchester // 18 & 20 June // The Movielife tickets
Some of the most exciting music news of recent months has come in the form of The Movielife announcing their return. Another band from the heyday of youth, I’m already super hyped for screaming my lungs out to Jamestown at the Electric Ballroom!

What gigs are you excited for in 2015?
