The new Karl Lagerfeld range, ‘KARL’ has hit Net-A-Porter! Being marketed as an ‘accessible’ range for women, with prices starting at £20 for a tote bag – although the prices are still unfortunately beyond my spending capability! The range is very ‘monochrome cool’ with attitude, and mixes elements of biker style leathers and zips with futuristic silvers and a selection of very on-trend Peter Pan collars. The collection has one month’s exclusivity at Net-A-Porter until it becomes available on other Lagerfeld sites. I’ve picked out some favourite pieces from the range for my ‘lust list’ – maybe I’ll buy a lottery ticket this week!
1. Pacey faux leather skinny pants, £155
I’d probably have to wait for my diet to start working before I squeezed into these, but I love the burgundy colour!
2. Sequined poplin collar, £125
I really want to get more of these into my wardrobe, and this sparkly number will brighten up a basic outfit. Although I do think £125 for a collar is a bit crazy!
3. Cutaway leather gloves, £50
At the cheaper end of the range, I’d team these leather, biker-esque gloves with a girly dress to toughen up the outfit.
4. Jeren cotton-terry and PVC sweater, £115
The PVC sleeves give the plain sweater a completely different and quirky look.
5. Ordina leather biker jacket, £685
Half a month’s pay packet! But I love this classic looking jacket nonetheless.
6. Sachi pleated faux leather skirt, £135
Absolutely in love with this! I love the mix of edgy and ladylike, I’ll be on the lookout for something similar at a more high-street price!
What do you think of the new KARL range?
