It’s Friday 13th! Eep! Thankfully, I’ve encountered no bad luck (so far!), so here’s my recap of the week that was…
Firstly, just wanted to throw this out there – selling some bits and pieces on Ebay, to fund my wardrobe upgrade! They’re all ending pretty soon too, and they’re all currently under a tenner.
This week! On Monday, it was my friend Steph’s birthday, meaning predrinks and PARTY! We went to a 90s club called Babylon (the amount I’ve been there over my 3 and a half years in Portsmouth is insane, haha!), and the theme was just…extreme! Lots of punk and crazy hair, mostly! Unfortunately, as I finished work late, I was rubbish and didn’t dress up – I did try to do crazy hair, but it just went flat by the time we were out. Wearing my much loved Tenki dress! I also had the ‘pleasure’ of Jamie, Harry and Rich getting into their costumes whilst I was sat in the living room – those metallic leggings = wayyy too much bulge…
On Thursday, we dressed up in a bear costume at work as part of a promo for Re-Freshers Fayre, which was hilarious. I got to go around hugging students in a full on bear suit – although it was absolutely BOILING inside. New look for me?
I’ve also made a few nice little purchases this week – although nothing too extravagant as I’m trying to save money! I had to go to Boots and buy some hair dye (Schwarzkopf XXL in ‘Real Red’ – I use it as a base and then use Directions semi-permanent to keep it bright!), and I ended up picking up a Revlon ‘Just Bitten’ lip stain too, in ‘Twilight’. Not being much of a lipstick person, as it always ends up everywhere BUT my lips, I absolutely adore lip stains. You can build them up from a light tint to full on colour, and these ones come with a balm too, so your lips stay moisturised and your colour doesn’t end up all over your glass/face/boyfriend!
With my purchases, I also got two £5 off the No7 range vouchers, which I love getting as their nail polishes are £7 – meaning with the voucher, these cost me just £2 each! (‘Poolside Blue’ and ‘I’m Exquisite’)
Off to James’ now, for fajitas and filmwatching! Hope you all have a lovely weekend!
